On Tuesday, September 19, Air Canada operated 5 flights including larger aircraft to bring customers home early from the affected areas in advance of Hurricane Maria, including from Puerto Plata, Punta Cana and Samana.
In response to Hurricane Maria, Air Canada Vacations is respecting the goodwill policy implemented by Air Canada for customers whose itinerary includes a flight impacted by the path of the hurricane. Please refer to the goodwill policy on Air Canada’s website for details on affected travel.
Affected customers may rebook an alternate Air Canada Vacations package by October 15, 2017 for travel before April 30, 2018. Customers are responsible for any price differential resulting from selection of a higher-priced alternative. This policy applies to scheduled departures as indicated in the goodwill policy only.
Air Canada Vacations is continuing to monitor the situation closely and will continue to provide updates it progresses.
